M25:35 is SMB’s migrant and refugee ministry. Our mission is to welcome Christ in the stranger by providing general assistance with refugee resettlement and support for migrants. Partnering with the Office of Immigration and Refugee Services of the Diocese of Providence and other collaborators in the local community, M25:35 seeks to ease the burdens of those who—often having suffered from war, oppression, poverty and political turmoil—come to the United States in search of the opportunity to live in peace, safety and freedom.

Saint Gabriel’s Call, a charitable effort of the Diocese of Providence, recruits and trains volunteers at the parish level to work with women and families facing problem pregnancies, delivering a message of hope and support. The message is a profound commitment, not only to the pre-born, but also to the post-born, their mothers and their families. Saint Gabriel’s Call provides emotional and practical support to those families in need, including diapers, baby clothing and much more. We are blessed at SMB to host Saint Gabriel’s Call in our lower church hall. Barbara Fisher coordinates this important ministry in our parish. If you are in need of assistance or would like to volunteer, please contact:

Mary’s Closet operates out of our parish hall and is available for our food pantry clients during regular pantry hours. Guests can choose from a number of small, household items, clothing, shoes and accessories, all for free! (While we are grateful for donations, we must insist that items are not left at the church doors during or after hours. You must contact a volunteer to determine need and availability for pick up. Thank you for your understanding.)
