Generations of Faith (Whole Family Catechesis)
Our primary education program at St. Francis de Sales is called “Generations of Faith” (GOF). This intergenerational program calls for the whole family to participate in their faith formation. We believe we are a community called to life-long learning of our faith. We also believe that religious education begins much earlier than Grade 1 and that it does not stop at Confirmation. Generations of Faith acknowledges that parents are the primary teachers of our Catholic faith and that the parish works with families to develop this faith in each member of the household. The household itself is called “the domestic church.” For more information about GOF, including current dates for the upcoming year, please contact the Religious Education Office at 401-885-3639.
